The Serbian defender Nemanja Vidic has won 15 trophies since making his move to Manchester United in 2006 but his contract runs up until the summer and the player has already confirmed that he will not be extending his stay at Manchester United.
“I never could have imagined winning 15 trophies and I will certainly never forget that fantastic night in Moscow, memories that will live with me and the fans forever. However, I have decided that I will move on at the end of this season. I want to challenge myself again and try to make the best of myself in the coming years’’.
“I’m not considering staying in England as the only club I ever wanted to play for here is Manchester United and I was lucky enough to be part of this club for so many years’’. Vidic stated.
David Moyes praised Vidic as the Scottish tactician considers the defender to be a brilliant servant for the club and he will remain being the captain of Manchester United for the remainder of the season.
Vidic still is not certain on where he will continue playing but Inter Milan are favorites on signing him up as the Italians have been interested in the Serbian player for quite some time now and this is their chance to finally secure his services.
In this summer Manchester United will have at least 7 players axed from the club as David Moyes has already made his list of performers that are very likely to see their way out of the Premier League club.
The list of players is likely on leaving Manchester United includes: Rio Ferdinand, Rafael da Silva, Patrice Evra, Shinji Kagawa, Luis Nani, Anderson and Alex Buttner.
